An exciting opportunity to join a Building Services Consultancy based in Buckinghamshire, as an Electrical Design Engineer.
The successful candidate would be working alongside the Directors and the rest of the team assisting them on projects.
Role Overview
Assisting with the production of Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health Services designs
Produce detailed specifications and schedules
Carry out interim inspections, reviewing on-site installations
General Project Management, Client liaison and progress meetings
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years working experience within the Building services Industry
- Degree qualification in Engineering, preferably in Building Services Engineering (BEng/BSc) (Ideal but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of the current British Standards and Building Regulations
- Has experience with attending site/site meetings to review the Mechanical and Electrical services
- Can produce surveys and reports using technical knowledge to meet British Standards
- Experience running projects and dealing with clients/contractors
- Strong working knowledge of Computer Aided Design platforms (AutoCAD / Revit) & Microsoft Office documents
- Working knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) platforms (Cymap / Hevacomp)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own
Commutable distance to Chesham, Buckinghamshire
Full Driving licence with use of own car as travel to site will be required
